I have to admit that I don't actually know Sonic Underground well enough to know if this is, in fact, from the series. When I saw this for sale, I discussed it with my mom, and we agreed that I didn't want to pass it by in my uncertainty and then later regret it. Considering how many SatAM regrets I currently have, I think it was a good decision.
In any case, now that I've acquired all of those layout sketches as well, I feel more assured that this may indeed be from Underground after all. The production number "426" appeared on a vast number of the layouts, and it appears on this background as well, so that puts my worries at ease -- somewhat. I still need to acquire the SU DVDs and watch the rest of the series to know for sure.
