This is by far one of the most unusual and interesting items I've ever come across. It's made of the same sort of material as any cel, but it's HUGE -- about 21''x31'' -- and mounted on foam core. Given that this design for Aleena is never seen anywhere else, and this is such a large and extravagant item, my best guess is that this is something that was used to pitch the concept for Sonic Underground.
