Who would've thought that a hedgehog could be the start of such a phenomenon? I've been a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog since I was 7 years old... and I'm now 24. You do the math. Sonic may not be quite as big of a whore as Mario, but he's definitely been around the block. He's got several incarnations and interpretations, and I'm sure there are even more to come. I actually made a conscious attempt to "outgrow" Sonic when I was in high school, and I failed miserably. I'm pretty sure I'll never be rid of him!
